About Brittany

I remember very clearly the moment I decided that I wanted to be a therapist; I heard an ad on the radio advertising family support and help at a local clinic. I felt a deep calling within me to be a part of this mighty work; of helping, strengthening, and repairing families. Whether working with the family as an entire unit, individuals struggling with addiction (helping to bring them back, safely to their loved ones) unifying marriages, helping parents with struggling adolescents, helping couples with sexual addictions, or working through grief and loss of family members, my mission is to bring healing and strength to families one member at a time.

Before branching out into private practice for Park City, Heber, and Midway, I worked in community mental health for 7 years. Which is where I was able to grow and expand into areas of expertise in addiction, relationships, eating disorders, and working with families. I enjoyed running group therapy sessions focusing on process and psychoeducation.  As an expert in the field of addiction, I was the Drug Court Coordinator for Wasatch County, and loved spending time learning about addiction, the brain, the family, and how to repair and find solutions individually to help bring about meaningful changes.

I believe in a whole-person approach; incorporating your strengths and building upon your natural abilities to help with areas of weakness, stress, or that cause undo sadness and pain. My office is warm, inviting, and a comfortable place to explore issues that may be preventing you from living the life you desire.

I work with adolescents, adults, elderly, families, and couples in the following areas: Anxiety, Depression, Eating Disorders, Sexual Addiction/Dysfunction, Addiction, Anger Management, Family Conflict/Divorce, Infertility/women’s issues, Parenting, and Spirituality. Some of my therapeutic approaches include: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Therapy, Family Systems, and a great deal of Psychoeducation.

Outside of the office I can be found hiking in the Uinta’s, binge watching Netflix with my kids, rummaging the ice cream aisle at Lee’s, and trying to work up the energy to do yard work.
