Some key elements to mental health, that are often understated, including changing diet, incorporating more sunlight, exercise, and modifying sleep habits can be crucial to finding balance and peace while struggling with depression. Simple things like creating a solid, researched bedtime routine can help with more restful sleep.

Choosing Positive Media and People to Associate With

There are numerous studies that show that involvement in social media can be very damaging to self esteem including increases in anxiety, and depression. Helping to navigate what do healthy, real relationships look like, how to develop those, and how to choose people that support your growth potential, as well as healthy involvement and boundaries in the online world.

Thinking Outside of Myself

Service is a universal principal that is often underutilized in real-world practices to help lift us out of a funk. Beginning a regular regimen of giving, even on a small micro level, to bring feelings of satisfaction, and gratitude for the things we do have, rather than focusing on what we want for are strengths I would help foster.

The Laugh Remedy

When was the last time you really belly laughed? You don’t need expensive tickets to comedy shows or clubs, or to wait for your favorite sitcom to come on. There are limitless ways to find fun, laughter, and positivity through websites, videos, trying new things, and spending time with good friends, cultivating more lighthearted encounters during tumultuous times.

These are just a few ideas to give you an impression of some ways that we would begin working on creating a healthier, more positive outlook with less anxiety and depression for yourself or your loved one.
